To all the Amen-Ra participants this year:  I wanted to thank all of you for a super competitive season and the administration of this league (Zaphod??)  for making everything go so smooth.  Hopefully I can pull out one more win and will start at the expert tier next year.  If not, I am looking forward to another Amen-Ra battle of the Grand Masters next year.


Chris - You have had a great year and I am not even thinking about counting any eggs before they are hatched.  Your matchup of Indy vs Hou has me worried.  I could see a 42 - 7 type score which would allow your defense and Manning alone to carry you.

The trophy is at the engraver. I'll try to get it out next week so you have it in time for the Super Bowl.

Thanks alot for all the Pyramid admins and everyone else that makes this such a great league. I was very fortunate this season with a liberal amount of luck thrown in, but I think to win the trophy, the competition is too tough to play it conservatively/safely.

The biggest break was getting LT at #2. Picking Wayne in the 2nd, Gore and Housh at the 4th/5th turn were the core of my team (Palmer was my 3rd pick and was steady for most of the season before slipping late).

I am writing up a small analysis of what I was thinking during the draft in our Amen-
Ra draft thread which you can look at if you wish. I would like some feedback from others.

Thanks again to everyone in the league and good luck next year. I plan on being back in two more years (as long as I don't lay an egg and get booted next year from the bottom) .
